Samsung has finally ended the beta program One UI 7 for the galaxy S24 series. Beta 4, released on Wednesday is expected to be the last as stable builds has recently surfaced on Samsung servers. Recently a community moderator has also confirmed that the stable release is coming soon ending speculation and ever conflicting reports and update.
One UI 7 could arrive sooner than expected
Multiple sources recently claimed that Samsung plans 6 beta versions for One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series, with beta 5 arriving on March and later on beta 6 on April, hinting on Stable release coming as late as May 2025. However, a community moderator has refuted the claim, calling them speculative citing numbers of beta are not pre-determined and depends on the stability of the software builds.
Now, another moderator has claimed that beta 4 was the last of beta updates and the program has ended. They also added that the stable version will soon roll out to Galaxy S24 users. At the same time, Samsung also uploaded a new One UI 7 stable build to its server further solidifying the moderator’s claim. The “BYBC” build appeared on multiple regions including US.

These recent developments around the One UI 7 are strong sign that the long wait for the 2024 flagship users is nearing end. It still remains to be seen if Samsung starts rolling out before the end of February. Samsung had earlier announced that the update will arrive in the Q1 of 2025, It still has a month of March to fullfill the promise. But we hope it doesn’t extend much beyond.
Thats said, Samsung One UI 7 update has marred with uncertainties. So, until the rollout begins, all we can do is wait and hope that everything goes smooth. Beta 4 is fairly stable with only few minor bugs and UI inconsistencies, if everything goes well, S24 users could receive the update soon.
