It has now been leaked that Samsung is prepping to launch the Galaxy A06 5G, a 5G variant of last year’s A06. Full specs and pricing have been leaked online ahead of the said event and yes, its confirmed that it gonna have Samsung Latest One UI 7.0 pre-installed ahead of many last year’s flagship which are still waiting for the update to come.
Specification and Price leaked, suggests imminent India launch
Tipster who goes by the name Abhishek Yadav have leaked the complete specs of the Galaxy A06 on X ahead of its India launch. The shared screenshots seems to be from an internal document comparing the Galaxy phone with other phone in the same budget and reveals what A 06 5G has to offer.
Galaxy A06 5G is expected to feature a 6.7 inch HD+ LCD display with 90hz of refresh rate. It has a dual camera setup at back a 50MP main sensor paired with 2MP secondary sensor, mainly a depth sensor. On the front its expected to feature a 8MP selfie camera and is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and a massive 5000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging and a power button mounted fingerprint sensor, all this housed in a 8mm thick body, same as that of its 4G sibling.
Though not expected, the biggest surprise in the leak is – it comes with a One UI 7.0 out of the box, the latest Android offering from Samsung based on Android 15 with 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of Security patches which means it could receive One UI updates up to One UI 11.0 or Android 19 unlike its previous sibling which was promised only years of updates.
The leaks also suggests that the Galaxy A06 5G will support 12 5G bands i.e. four additional compared to its predecessor and could handle microSD cards upto to 1.5 TB paired with combination of 4/6 GB ram and upto 128 GB storage.
