After Infinix Zero Flip, company’s first foldable smartphone, launched last year November, Infinix has now unveiled its first tri-fold smartphone, the Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold. The announcement comes ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 to be held from Match 3 to March 6 in Barcelona, Spain. Infinix highlighted that the concept of tri-fold smartphone is not a distant dream. While Infinix has not yet shared the hardware and launch details yet, it showcased the dual-hinges and the triple fold mechanism for its upcoming smartphone.
Zero Series Mini, Not Just Foldable, But Versatile
The Infinix Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold is not just a triple folding standard foldable phone. Infinix calls it “a bold reimagination of how tech enhances everyday life, evolving seamlessly between different forms.” The Infinix Tri- Fold is versatile and can switch between a smartphone, a hands-free fitness tool, and a compact camera. While the standard foldable extends widthwise into larger screens, The Infinix Zero Series Mini folds vertically into itself. With strap accessory it mounts on gym equipment for fitness and workout tracking, clips to a backpack or bike for action shots or navigation or unfolds into a pocket-sized smartphone.

The Infinix Zero Series Mini with its “outward folding” design unlocks unique features. It supports a dual-screen setup for smooth multilingual chats. It also enhances the camera system, allowing the main camera to capture high-quality photos or videos while screen helps frame the selfies.

With that said, The Infinix Zero Series Mini Tri-Fold is still a concept and may not even reach the market. Infinix has not shared any specific details about the phone but more details might emerge at MWC 2025.
